Hi all, bought a used allpha q fork. Looks undamaged (heck almost unridden) but the right front dropout is bent so that the little lip of the hub of a front wheel can't rest comfortably in there. Only the skewer goes in. The fork itself is not bent. The wheel appears to be secure and tracks straight.

Is this fork safe?
Can the bend be fixed?

Sorry no digital camera to show.

Thanks

I seem to remember they will replace a dropout for a small fee-maybe $40? If I remember correctly, the dropout on the one I had was aluminum, and I would be afraid of one that was bent like that.
