I am a beginner and I am looking for a beginner friendly club to ride and learn with - I am Cat 5 - a first ever beginner to racing. I am looking for a club/team with patience, other beginners, and a non elitist attitude. Any suggestions of Massachusetts Clubs? I live in Sturbridge and work in Framingham.

Hi There!
I've been riding with Quad for about 2 years now. I love it. Riders are friendly and encouraging. I can tell you all the good stuff I've experienced with these guys but it will pale in comparison to your actual personal experience. Sturbridge is quite a haul from Arlington but at a given weekend, give it a try. I myself was just a rec rider until late last year when some of the racers encouraged me to do a crit.
Check it out.

Tom and Brian (founders of the club/team) will be more than helpful in getting you racing Cat 5.

Ride safely,

Look into Team BA in Worcester. They have members in all categories and are all pretty close by to ride with. Decent bunch of riders....

ECV (Essex County Velo) has a large cat 4/5 contingent. So does NEBC/Cycle Loft.
Google them up!
