I have the same bike and paint scheme in a 55cm. I bought it as a "demo" bike at the 2002 Ride the Rockies in Colorado after demoing it one day. I got an incredible deal - it even came with a 10s Record/Chorus combination. It rides superbly though it's a little stiff (but hey, I realize it's an aluminum frame). The carbon fiber fork and chain stays do a good job of damping out higher frequency road vibration. Not as smooth as an all carbon fiber frame (which I don't prefer anyways) or as forgiving as Ti on long rides, but it climbs really, really well, and would do well in a crit - I think - I don't race anymore. It is prone to front wheel wobble at high speeds as I have witnessed on several occasions coming down from Colorado passes - gotta push the handle bars far forward and get my weight way back. I attribute this to the tight geometry. I only wish they had made the head tube angle and/or fork rake at little more relaxed, but I easily forget this due to the way it climbs...

Ooops, I wrote carbon fiber chain stays when I meant seat stays. -Alex
