I like the idea that someone is willing to stand up against those morons, but I'm not sure I'd want a bunch of USA, USA-cheering bikers at my kid's funeral either.
atpjunkie 02-21-2006, 12:15 PM I hope all those fundicons out there are proud of certain members of their faith.
and all you fundicons should note: no one on this board has tried to lump you in with these wackos like you like to lumpall of Islam in with the likes of AL Qaeda.

I would if that fcuknut Phelps showed up at my son or daughter's funeral. One of these days he's going to show up at a funeral for a soldier from the hood or the barrio and that soldier's homies are going bust a cap off in his ass. Let's see what those bikers do when they put his carcass six feet under.

They're all the same when you get right down to it. If they (the "RR") thought for even a split second that they could get away with deporting or jailing or executing every non-Christian in the country you bet your ass they would.
I'm also tired of defending their religious freedoms. I'm now of the same mindset they are regarding it: I'll just turn a blind eye to any attempts to diminish religions role in America just as they turn a blind eye on attempts to force others into their way of thinking. I don't care about their freedoms anymore.

While I do play an attorney on TV I am not in fact an attorney. ...but you have my vote.

To turn the fundicon's catchphrase around - These soldiers died in Iraq fighting for Phelp's right to freedom of religion.
WOW!!You don't think I was too soft, do you?

That's a fact Jack.
Where's the "support our troops" outrage?

That is exactly right, but what you can never remember is that rights come with responsibilities. Understanding the proper forums for executing your rights is one of your responsibilities, these people are as repulsive and as cruel as they come, they have no right to taint the funeral of noble men in front of their grieving families. Maybe a point to remember when your waxing endlessly about some protest you can't find the courage to hold people accountable for.

Bikers rock. I ride with a group here in Southern Cal, and we do a lot of rallies, poker runs, and campouts year round. As a group, bikers tend to be very libertarian; live and let live, and don't dare pull me over for my helmet
