I'm figuring mid-march or beginning of april... BUT I CAN NO LONGER WAIT. I went for a fixed gear ride - one hour yesterday and half an hour today (because of work, argggghhhh). It should get a lot warmer later this week - I'm hoping I can get out and do some more. Hey boroef - Did a few fixed gear rides in the last three days - one hour, half an hour and an hour today. Not really impressive or hardcore but it beats riding rollers day after day. Really excited about joining a club this year - let's hope the weather is kind to us! Happy riding! Dave WBC 03-07-2006, 04:03 PM I rode up to lake Simcoe. Saw two other guys out and had a nice tailwind on the ride home. :D WBC boroef 03-08-2006, 06:48 AM this week is only supposed to continue to get warmer! let's go bonkers guys :D Chainstay 03-09-2006, 07:09 PM My winter bike had a jammed shifter so I rode the Merlin, both days. It needed a cleaning afterward but I was riding. On Sunday I rode uphill into the 22 Kph North wind for 32Kms and then turned around and cruised home. f1junkie 03-12-2006, 08:03 PM Ahhhhhh, this crazy March weather is awesome! Yesterday I got ripped off a ride b/c of work, but I did a two hour ride today - awesome and relaxing. All the time spent on the rollers seems to be paying off. Anyone else enjoy the weather this weekend? Temps in the double digits, went for a 2 hour ride on my usual course, doesn't look like I've lost any fitness over the winter. Yaaaay rollers!!!! Such a spectacular day, I'll keep the excitement to myself so I don't make people who worked today feel too too bad. Hope for more of the same tomorrow! Spring is finally here, go out and ride...
