acoording to the team doctor he should start training again in a few weeks. Will be painful though
Matti Breshel took the bad hit on CSC though...

Um...It's all in the couple of posts right above you. He broke 5 ribs, a collarbone, and will train again in a few weeks.

Actually if you look at the first post, It was I who posted that it was Stuart O'Grady that broke five ribs and collarbone. We're now talking about Matti Breshel, also CSC, who took an even worse fall.

McEwen showed him some true love in the sprint. Broke the back two places and has no short-term memory. Back will be fine and his memory should recover.
Out for several months.

Oh my goodness! That's crazy! More head butting on McEwens part? And was McEwen DQed? I cant find a decent race report on this. Thanks guys!

he took a spill as well. Was relegated to last in the thrid stage but did not get a time penalty for the final classement.
Breschel got third overall FWIW and the youth jersey.
The race was Dreidaagse van West-Vlaanderen

As an Australian, i don't know what the hell McEwen's on, he's good and all, but the head butting and stuff. That's bad news for O'grady though, he's one of the best aussies we have, i don't know if he was suppossed to be riding at the commonwealth games, but if he was, that's a real blow, poor guy!
