A beautiful Friday brought over 100 commuters to 2004's first monthly breakfast. Haven't seen so many clips and straps in 20 years. In stead of begging us to eat more bagels, the organizers had to go get more.

Wow - that is an impressive turnout! I didn't realize this past Friday was the last Friday of the month, and even though I biked to work, forgot to meet at the Old State House (that is where we still meet, right?). I think I came in a little later that morning, otherwise I'm sure I would have seen the commuters out my window, as I work right across from the Old State House. Oh well...next month. Where did you commute from?

I commute 2 or 3 times a week year round unless:

1. I have to drive my sons somewhere after work.

2. There's snow on the roads.

3. It's raining in the morning - I can't stand the wet chamois for the ride home.

I have an even shorter commute (from W Htfd) but my riding to work really varies. I've ridden to work as much as 4x/week and as little as 0. So far this year I have 25 bike to work days in (if I remembered to record them all in my PDA).
