Anyone built up these rims? Any issues? Is the weight really 480 grams?

I've been looking for something similar to the Niobium rims from Mike Garcia and IRD and these have my interest. My only knowledge of Alex rims is usually as low cost OEM products but I know some of you have had good success with their products.

First, I think I read, just recently, that Alex didn't actually sell those rims.

As for other Alex rims, a few have been generating quite a bit of talk: the R400's and the Crostini R3.1 and R3.2. Ligero uses 'em, and some are shown right here (http://forums.roadbikereview.com/showthread.php?t=55489). I'm sure others are buildin' wif 'em, too. Ergott, are you?
