I usually consider myself to have strong libertarian leanings but got a straight up "liberal" probably because I put "maybe" on two of the personal freedom-related questions (drugs and national ID card).

Honestly, I don't have an opinion about the national ID card and think its mostly the "mark of the beast" crowd and the black helicopter crowd that cares (neither of which is my bedfellows).

As for legalizing drugs, the question was just too blanket for my taste. I could go for legalizing marijuana, but everything? I dunno.

I voted M on the ID card as well. I don't like the idea, but it may be a neccessity in these times. As far as drugs I voted to legalize all of em. That probably got me the Libertarian bent. I think that even if stuff like heroin, crack etc was legal we'd be better off since we wouldn't be supporting the current black market that supplies them--with all the resultant crime and violence. Look at Denmark. They have junkies, but no more than here. Plus people who are addicted to drugs are not overcrowding the jails.

But what are your personal vs. economic scores? I had 100% on the personal and 40% on the economic so I was a liberal with some libertarian tendencies. Legalize them drugs but no national ID.

I was a straight-up liberal. I have wavering issues about free trade and when I changed my choice from "M" to "A" on ending barriers to free trade, I got bumped to liberal-libertarian.

Came out a straight liberal.
