I was just at my lbs trying out shoes, but im a size 13 and they didnt have any. they said i would have to order them, I think i like the shimano R098. but i dont have alot of experience in shoes so i was just going to see if anyone had some other suggestions.

I have the R098s and love em, but I haven't been riding long- I used them for spin class for 3 months and now I'm using them on my bike and they're great. Not good for cold weather though!

Sadly, there's not much in that price range. However, a pair of the best shoes I ever had I was able to nab on SALE at the price range: Specialized Body Geometry shoes. Very good, high quality, and survived a pretty nasty racing crash with hardly no scratches. It's hard to find good deals on good shoes. Better not to skimp there.

Specialized is selling it last years shoes cheaply on there web site, check it out. I have a pair of there 2006 road bg shoes and love them.

Spend a little more and get a pair off EBay. I got a pair of Nike Lance for around $125.
