Putting a TA 9/10 48T ring on my 105 8-speed crank. XT ders. Result will be 48-39 double crank instead of 44-32 Curve double. 8-speed cassette. Which chain should I use - 8 or 9 speeed? Thanks

Thanks Al1943 04-11-2006, 07:19 PM I suspect you could use 8, 9, or 10-speed chain sense the inside dimensions are the same. If it was me I'd try a 9-speed chain. Where you could get into trouble would be by using a chain too wide for the cassette, in your case not a problem. Al the bull 04-11-2006, 09:25 PM 8 speed because of the spacing if the rear cassette! |
