I'm looking for a 45mm raked carbon fork for 1 1/8" non-integrated headsets for use on a custom steel frame. I'm having a hard time finding much of a selection

So far the options are
Look HSC3
Mizuno MR-21
Woundup
Ouzo Pro
Kult (http://www.kultbike.com/shop/forks.html)

Columbus forks -but they seem to be for integrated headsets.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

thanks

Most riders in the market for a fork want a specific offset, but forget that the fork length matters too. If you get a longer fork with a 45mm offset, you may get the same or larger trail than another brand with a 43mm or perhaps even a 40mm offset. Probably not what you have in mind.

Frame hasn't been built yet. So exact fork length (Axle to crown) will be factored into the final build. Current design calls for 45mm rake.

At 44mm rake the Alpha Q is available too. The design might be tweakable to work for that fork too

If the builder can 'factor in' for for the length, he can 'factor in' for the rake. Get the fork you want and tel him what it is. - TF
