Dear Cyclers!!!
County Cycles and St. Paul Mayor Randy Kelly will be joining members of the St. Paul Bicycle Advisory Board and other cyclists for a ceremonial bike ride into downtown St. Paul to promote National Bike to Work Week (May 17-21). The ride will begin at 7:15 a.m. (that's not a misprint) Monday morning, May 17, at the Island Station (former NSP power Plant), Shepard Road just east of Randolph. We will ride the short distance into downtown St. Paul along the new Sam Morgan Trail which parallels Shepard Road. This event is meant to promote Bike to Work Week and to bring attention to the need for continuing to improve infrastructure for bicycling in St. Paul.
Please ride or drive your bike down to Island Station and join us for this
important PR opportunity to promote alternative modes of transportation.
This event has been organized by Eric Thompson, City of St. Paul Bicycle and
Pedestrian Coordinator, the Midway Transportation Management Organization
(TMO), and the St. Paul TMO. Please forward this message to anyone who
might be interested in joining us.
