This is Shari Kain at the Mt Snow NORBA national mtn bike race in 1997. Shari was riding for the RLX Polo Sport team, at a time when being good-looking and blond was a requirement for membership on that team- before they took on Jimena Florit, who is good-looking but not blonde. I can remember having a mild case of the hots for Shari, I found her attractive in the buff, low-fat, small-breasted way of a female athlete.

Yup, I met her at one of the rest stops for the Tierra Bella century ride. Her and a pack of about 30 Kain riders had their own peleton.

Yes.. Shari was (is) a great athelete and a super cool lady. She always went out of her way to thank you or say hi. Many guys had the hots for her.
These pictures dont do her any justice as this was the era where there was no such thing as a womens specific or anything feminine that looked good.

I remember seeing her at a Surf City Cyclocross race and came home and told my wife "you got to start riding!"
