Hey RBR,

I need some recommendations.

What are the best lightweight road shoes for flat feet? I'm not actaully that wide, however my Carnac Eclipses and Shimano R-215's seem to squeeze the ball of my foot just a little bit too much.

Yes i know Rocket 7's are the ideal shoes, however I would like to go check out some stock shoes before commiting to rocket 7 prices.

My shimano MTB shoes fit great, however I think MTB shoes are a bit wider and flatter in the toe box

Anyone have some recommendation on shoes that seem to be better for flat feet?

thanks in advance,

Toe box width is difficult for road shoes. Do you have prescription insoles for your every day shoes running shoes etc? No? get to a specialist and find out what your feet do and what you need to keep them properly aligned then start lookinf for shoes you fit.

I have a similar problem, but my width is in the middle of my arch...which makes things even more tough. So far, Sidi megas, Nike (anything but the Lance model) and some Pearl Izumis seem to be the ones with the most relaxed footbed.
