hey all,

i want to remove the top mount levers on my cross bikes, and i am wondering if it will be necessary and/or worthwhile to replace the cables. the cables are less than a year old, but have been thru one racing season. thanks in advace...

You have to replace the housing (unless you find some kind of joiner??) so I would replace the cables also. - TF

If they are a year old, replace them. And as TT said, you are going to need two sections of new housing anyway.

and a couple follow-up questions....anyone have recommendations for good/light cables and/or know where i can get housing in colors (ie. red)?
