Racing in Spain the last couple of weeks with some decent results, nothing spectacular but not off the pace either. Just where someone peaking for the Tour should be at this point.

Anyone have info on Heras' descent ability? Besides the generalization that Spanish riders don't descent well, where does Heras fall between the Zulles and Simonis of the world?

With some of the important mountain stages finishing at the bottom of the mountain, going downhill fast will allow some of the generalists to pull back a bit of time...
