I'm looking at compact design road bikes. I fit well on my Litespeed Classic 61 cm. The Classic top tube length is 59.0 cm.

It seems I am in between the Large and XL compact frames. Anyone have advice?

By the way this bike would replace my old backup bike for bad weather and when I want to ship the bike for vacations. My present old steel 62 cm backup bike barely fits in a standard shipping box for UPS standard bike shipping rate. With the compact design it should ship easier.

TIA,

What frames are you looking at? It varies by builder. Also, for shipping ease, have you seen the new Ritchey Break Away?
