Did anyone get out to the ride today? I assume there had to be several people that did, being that there were THOUSANDS of people there.

I did the 50 mile route, and it was very nice- north along Lake drive, past Concordia and back. I got in a couple of good groups and ended up finishing faster than I thought- about 3 hours, 19 mph average and two stops.

If you liked that, you should look into the Scenic Shore 150. It's a 2-day ride during the 3rd weekend of July up to Sturgeon Bay from the MATC campus in Mequon. Usually a south wind and enough fit riders to form fine pacelines going 22-24 mph for an hour or two. Nice support and you raise money for a good cause - the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
