Thinking about getting a new wheelset.
This will be for road riding only, in any condition. Because of my schedule I pay no attention to weather whatsoever and ride a lot in wet (rain, snow) weather. Actually, my last 10 rides where all in the rain :( .

I am interested in people who have experience with fixed hubs in those conditions.

Found this offer:
http://store.paulcomp.com/hiflwh.html this is directly from paul components.
Paul hubs with fusion rims for 395$. But I am hesitant because phil hubs might be in adverse conditions.

Thanks.

Phil wood hubs have great seals and bearings and should hold up very well. However riding in the rain and snow is bound to kill any bearing quickly regarless of manufactures. That being said I have phil hubs on my singlespeed and they are going great after two years in the woods.

Definitely go with either Phil or Paul. Kirsten Gum and Al Trautwig hubs are the worst!
