Hello All,

I've been offered a job in Carrollton, TX and I'm looking for info on Road and MTB riding in the area. When I was there for the interview I drove 170 miles in the north Dallas area looking at the roads and didn't see a single cyclist. I know they've got to be out there. Cycling has become a huge part of my life so any info is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

check out the Richardson Bike Mart. I use to live in Dallas. My former riding buddy is doing training rides on Mondays, Weds and Saturdays. Lots of rides. You can find several rides most days all over the Dallas area, but many in the north dallas area. Also you can start on the trail head at LBJ and Hillcrest and ride to White Rock Lake and do laps at the lake-just be careful on the trail as its a zoo.

A guy at Mad Duck (cycle shop) in Grapevine told me about this club: http://www.carrolltoncycling.com/. There are plenty of group rides to be found!

http://www.dorba.org for MTB trails.

Check out RCP, LHB and Arbor Hills in that order. All great rides for MTB.

Thanks for the info guys. The job offer couldn't pass the sharp pencil test so I declined.
