Specialized is replacing my old S-Works frame with a '04 frame. My old frame had a straight top tube and as you know the '04s are sloping. Would I still ride a 60cm with the sloping top tube?
What size are the taller riders here riding?
Thanks for your help,
Bro

A 60 cm S-works frame would is measured from the center of the BB to a virtual line if the top tube was not sloping. Meaning that if the frame was not compact the center of the tob tube would be at that virtual line you are measuring, if that makes any sense. I am 6'2" but only ride a 56 due to my shorter than anverage legs. I have ridden tradtional 56 cm frames and my Specialized is pretty much the same size.

I have an 03 s-works which is compact geometry as is the 04 (sloping top tube). I ride a 58cm frame and I'm very comfy on it. I'm 6'2 with a 35 inseam. I need 31 inches from the BB to the middle of the top of my saddle and this still leaves plenty of post left on my 350mm seatpost. Hope this helps a little.

I'm 6' with long legs and I was much to my surprise fitted to a 56.5cm frame (instead of the 58cm I'm used to). I will never go back to a straight top tube after experiencing what compact geometry has to offer. It smokes. Don't be surprised if you fit nicely into 58cm compact frame
