Hey all-

Im thinking about touring for 4-5 days in Louisiana, can anyone recommend interesting/scenic areas to go? Im not too familiar with the state, but I figured the mississippi might be nice to follow and eventually come to New Orleans, but I really would like some scenery, interesting towns and Id explore the western part of the state if anyone can recommend route ideas or places to visit.

Start in Baton Rouge, go North to St. Francisville, cross the Mississippi on the New Roads Ferry, head North on Hwy 1 to Simmsport, turn and go North on Hwy 15 up to Natchez(15 takes you through the Three Rivers Area along the Levee), the back over into Miss to take the Natchez Trace up to Jackson. Varied terrain, with a tail wind most of the time. Have fun
