I've read the posts and review of these wheels on this site as well as Cycling/Velonews, but I just wanted to see if anyone else has had any experience with these wheels. If you could you please share you thoughts and whether you recommend them. Opinions on tubeless? Is Tufo the way to go with these?

I've looked around on the internet and the cheapest I can find them is $899 at Sunrise Cyclery, however I am hesitant about ordering from them because their site does not say that they are a Shimano Authorized Internet Retailer. Is this something I need to be concerned about if I have issues with the wheels and the warranty?

I know the some of the skewers on these wheels have been recalled, so I will check to make sure I am not getting the recalled skewers before purchasing.

I am going to check out my LBS this weekend to see what they are selling them for and if they can beat the price I find on the internet. Has anyone else seen them for less than $899 recently?

Anyones thoughts/opinions/experiences/advice with these wheels would be appreciated.

I just rode mine for the first time today. They are beautiful, they are light, and I did do my time-trial route faster than ever before (but I'm not saying its because of the wheels...). I wouldn't say they are mind-blowing (the Zipp 303s that I rode were, but I don't think they would have lasted under me), but they are nice and I expect them to be on my bike for a ong time. That's al I can say. Only ridden 20 miles on them so far. As for tires, I am running Vittoria Open Corsa CX on them. If Michelin or Hutchinson ever do come out with a tubeless tire, I'll try them, but just I'm happy with my Corsas.
