so i'm looking for what appears to be a dying breed:
Aluminum
under 250ish gms
26.0 compatible
classic bend (none of this anatomic stuff for me)
shallow drop
44cm wide

I have a set of Titec malones that I run on my other road bike that work perfectly, would like another set if anyone has a lead on a set of 44cm ones.

I don't know how much you are looking to spend but some of Deda's bars come in shallow drop w/ traditional bend.

The Ritchey's are the bet. Shallow drop in a 26.0 and deep drop in 31.8.

Deda 215's at 220 grams. 135mm drop and 80mm reach. Not sure what you use, but they work perfect for Campagnolo shifters do to the small reach (also great for Shimano as well). Many Pro Tour teams are using this bar or the same bar in 31.8 called Newton.

As mentioned, another good choice is the Ritchey WCS Classic at 210 grams, 135mm drop and 82mm reach. http://rbikes.com/itemdetails.cfm?id=7818&affiliate=2

If you want to go carbon with the strength/stiffness of aluminum, for the price, the Kestrel EMS Pro can't be beat. 220 grams, 150mm drop and 85mm reach. http://www.repartocorse.com/
