bush is a sh*thead...but this ain't a story.
thatsmybush 07-17-2006, 08:54 AM The real shame is that it wasn't fed live over the networks. This way the first fine of 325,000 useless thought police dollars to be doled out by the FCC moral authority would be against one of its biggest advocates.
spyderman 07-17-2006, 09:27 AM It shows him at his finest. What happens when someone loses control? What does it say about a person who has no clue as to what they're doing?

I was more offended by his horrible table manners. Jeez, chew with your mouth shut.

There ain't much worse than a open-mouthed chewer.

a silverware tooth clanker or involuntary lip smacker is close.
thatsmybush 07-17-2006, 11:17 AM a silverware tooth clanker or involuntary lip smacker is close.
That can be remedied if people would voluntarily give up their forks...

Are you for real? using the S___ word in a conversation with is losing control? Is that what you are trying to say?
Mark16q 07-17-2006, 11:42 AM a silverware tooth clanker or involuntary lip smacker is close.
I thought I was the only one driven insane by this trait....my wife, a damned near perfect person if not for her tooth-clanking on the silverware. It's good to know I'm not alone.

chasgator 07-17-2006, 12:38 PM So I guess the phrase "Glass Houses" only conjures up images of a Billy Joel LP?
I'd say it reveals 2 previously unknown facts about President Bush.
1. If this is the first slip that has ever been caught on tape, he's doing pretty good..."misunderestimated" and other malaprop statements included.
2. He sounds just like everyone else I've ever met talking amongst friends and confidants.
Now, if he sounded like a sailor (apologies to any and all members of the Naval Service, from whichever country) or was coming unglued (The Nixon-Kissinger conversations regarding Nuking North Vietnam comes to mind) then it's something totally different.
magnolialover 07-17-2006, 01:10 PM Oh my gosh! A grown person swore! Holy cow! Stop the presses, make this the lead story on every news website out there...
I can't even believe I watched the video (had to see what the hub bub was about after all). Man, he and Blair were just talking. It didn't sound much different than conversations I have had with friends and family about this same issue, well, I tend to cuss more. Oh well...
That can be remedied if people would voluntarily give up their forks...
LMAO!

You may be right...

Oh yeah! Drink/soup slurpers drive me nuts too. In fact... I just don't want to hear anyone eating, period.
You may be right...
It's just a fantasy.

I'm with you on this one. So what's your take on loud breathers? You know the ones that, even though they are sitting still, sound like they just finished a marathon?

Being and intolerant prick, with the exception of a well timed burp or fart, I'm pretty much anti any bodily noise emissions. Loud breathing is definitely on the list. I also hate the sound made when someone speaking has dry mouth.
SJBiker 07-17-2006, 08:21 PM As much as I don't like Bush, I've got to hand it to him. The guy can speak frankly when he wants to. At least there's some bad@ss in him.

Yeah what's the deal with that? CNN was playing it over and over and not beeping over sh _ t. Is the s-word not on the banned list?

Yeah, simple minded badarse. With a poor grasp of the issues involved.. but people like the salty language.
He also managed to offend a lot of people by groping the chancellor of germany. Saying a word and getting caught by microphones is one thing, but giving a public, univited, and inappropriate shoulder rub to the leader of another nation while she is sitting at a diplomatic table?
Just look at her expression:

That's bush, do what you want and don't pay attention to others and how they react.

If I say sh|t at the office, no big deal.
If I come up behind a co-worker when she is sitting down and rub her shoulders uninvited, I am asking for trouble.
If I am at a meeting with a lot of people from other organizations, and I rub the shoulders of a woman from one of those organizations univited in front of every one else, and she shrugs it off with that kind of expression, well, let's just say that is not a good career move on my part.
In any case, pissing off the leader of Germany in such an unthinking way is stupid, doing nothing to advance US interests and potentially causing diplomatic trouble down the road.

What would you get for a series of blowjobs from an intern?
thatsmybush 07-18-2006, 08:12 AM What would you get for a series of blowjobs from an intern?
Well if it is anything like my experiences getting them...a big smile on one's face.
Can't speak for everyone...but I would like to talk to the guy who isn't willing to back my assertion.

NPR played it too. My guess is they are daring the FCC for a fine
rocco 07-18-2006, 08:20 AM It's newsworthy so they get wider berth with the language.
dr hoo 07-18-2006, 08:51 AM What would you get for a series of blowjobs from an intern?
If I followed the bj policy, nothing.
I wish I was kidding.
I don't have interns, but I do have students both in classes and as research assitants. The written policy says that if I start to diddle them, I tell my supervisor that I am doing so, and set up things so that someone ELSE evaluates their work. Then all is fine, in terms of my employment.
Messed up, in my opinion, but you did ask.
Messed up, in my opinion, but you did ask.
Huh?! All you need to do is diddle your entire class and you won't have to grade any more papers. Think man, think.
:D
dr hoo 07-18-2006, 09:19 AM There are some nice blonde hotties, but there are also a lot of, shall we say "solid farmer" stock among my students. I'd rather grade the papers.

You sound too persnickety. More stout beers under trees should cure that for ya.
