I don't usually plan my ride though...

Either way, I don't think I've seen you on the path yet, but I have a feeling I might've seen you at Martin Swiss....did you ever buy a pair of Ultegra pedals but needed longer screws for your cleats?

Anyhoo, hard to miss me on the path, I wear a t-mobile jersey, black giro helmet and ride a black/red Giant TCR....tacx tao water cages with 2 clear t-mobile water bottles....and I'm a slow poke where older people on their electric cruiseres will pass me sur mon gauche.

I end up at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve a lot just doing laps

Okay, WOW. Your memory terrifies me. That was me and that was a year ago. Since then I've been hired as thier webmaster and have become a shop-bum. I end up on the Circuit quite often to, but I'm getting really sick of being a self-admitted pathlete, so I think that next week I'm going to swear off the paths for a while and just explore montreal, I'm sure the hills will be a fantastic workout and if the traffic doesn't kill me, it'll only make me stronger

Anyways, there are a few people on the mailing list already, so that's a good thing.

Yeah the paths can get dangerous on weekends with so many clueless people out there...afterall it is a multi use trail.

As for traffic, good luck....just avoid St-Catherine, lots of people crossing (j-walking) and cars inching foward to get onto the side streets (especially cabbies)...haha..all the typical montreal stereotypes

St-Laurent's hill is fun, sometime some street bums with bikes will race ya up the hill ...well they're probably chasing me since they're yelling incoherent stuff...but ya... :D

Still haven't spotted ya.

I think I'll toy with the idea of Pie-Neuf or find a way to go as far east as I can. I've done the Lake shore ride a few times so East will be a nice change.

Would also like to explore the south shore alot more.
