Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone knows anything a bike I came into - an '87(?) Cannondale Team Comp - #56021787099.

It's entirely gray, with the exception of the hot pink logo and "Team Comp" on the chainstay.

I have no idea of it's original components—presently a mix of Santé (front), 600 (rear), Suntour (shifters), Dura Ace (hubs), Diacompe (brakes), and Sakae SA (cranks) - and much more, but nothing consistant.

I'm just curious about it's story: origin, price, components, etc.

Thanks for any help!

Brent

Call them: 1-800-BIKE-USA

Make sure you have all the information from the bottom bracket and they should be able to tell you everything about the bike especially the month and year it was made. Before Cannondale was sold the Customer Service department was great about giving you information on old bikes...hopefully it is still the same.

Yeah, hope you like numbness and sore backs! Those old C-dales rode like ROCKS!

They're GREAT crit bikes, but anything over an hour or so and you'll wish you were riding something else.

My first bike was a ca 1986-7 blueberry with white decals "Criterium" frame with the blue 6sp 105.

If you're planning on riding it, I'd invest in some 28c tires...
