Does anyone know Cardona Ricardo from Chicago? He is selling a 2005 Colnago C50 frame in the classifieds for $1300 and says it is in perfect condition, so it sounds like a steal. I have committed to buy the frame but now we are having problems with payment and it seems a little fishy. I asked if he would accept COD or Paypal and he said no to both and directed me to www.nopaypal.com, and says he will only accept cash/money order. I was just wondering if someone on here could possibly vouch for him and maybe I would feel a bit more comfortable purchasing the bike. Thanks for teh help.

Secure payment only. Anything else is a scam. This IS the way we have to treat everyone now. No reason why a seller can't open a paypal acct. If we use this motto, the scammers will just be out of business.
