I have been riding for about 3 years now, and two days ago i went higher then i normally do when i was "triming" the hair on my legs & I started to notice stretch marks on my inner thighs. They are high in the inner thighs.

Does anyone else have this?? Do anyone know why? I did gain alot of weight this past winter.. but not enough to make my legs grow. all gut :mad2:

I have the same thing...but you don't notice till you shave. It is odd, but I think it involves growing quickly. I have never been overweight in my life...I really think it has to do with a growth spurt up, or out!!

Maybe you're pregnant.

I have stretch marks around my knees. They show when I'm extra lean. They're probably from when I was heavier. They have been there for at least 20 years, so I don't think they are going to go away. They'll probably become less visible when the wrinkles set in.

I know this is an 'older' thread, but I just wanted to mention another instance. I've got them as well (on my biceps, "love handles", inner thighs and knee area) Unfortunately, the ones I have on my upper/inner thighs are deep and wide, so they're noticable from across the room. Oddly enough, I was never more than 30 lbs overweight (when I was 16). Anyways, to the point. I got new ones when I was 20 because I went from skinny biker body to skinny biker body with huge sprinter legs in a reasonably short period of time. It seems to me that some people's skin just doesn't deal well with rapid growth. You don't just get them from 'fat' either. And I'm a young, skinny dude :) haha

THey fade alot as time goes by, but what helps them to fade faster is vitamin E. Just massage it in daily, you don't need a lot at all. The marks themselves, however, will never go away.

Yeah, I have stretch marks on my hips, I got them when I hit puberty...I grew hips so fast I was walking them into walls for several years. Never fat or pregnant.

I've got them too. Had them since highschool. One day just noticed them. Looks like a scar and are .5" x 2" each. Freaked me out when I first found it. Couldn't figure out how i could get such an injury without noticing. Doc figgured it was just stretch marks from growth spurts.
