With Moreau's nice rides this weekend, top 5? I counted him out with his knee problems earlier this year, but with his return to racing, he gets back to winning so quickly?

Is it just me or are the French too easily discounted? While Chavenel is probably too young to go without a bad day, Moreau has a couple top 10 3-week finishes. Maybe he is due for a podium in the Tour, maybe he has taken the pressure off with these wins and will ride the tour without pressure.

Of course, the entire team might be built around Hushovd getting Green, but I'm looking for Moreau to surprise and make the podium. (yes, it would take a couple of other pretenders to drop out, but half always seem to do that)

for years to come. Italy has the best new young riders and it's my bet we'll see an Italian and another American on the podium before we see a Frenchman.
