This is in reference to RACE WEEKEND (http://www.onondagacyclingclub.org/pdfs/race/syracuse_race04.pdf) in Syracuse, NY this coming weekend.
I've been debating about what race(s) to do. YTD, my mileage is a meager 600 miles (not
enough time with school...), and last years (I started road biking last summer- only two
months) was about 700, for a total of ~1300.
There's a junior mens RR (33 miles)- should I try, or jus focus on the crit listed below? I
did a rolling 30 miles today and avg. ~16/17 mph.
What crit should I do? There's a mens 4/5 (25 laps) and a juniors/men 5 (15 laps)- which
one do you recommend?
The flyer says that the juniors/men 5 race is actually two different fields?
[[MEN 5 CAN RACE TWICE DURING CRITERIUM: Men 5 may also race at 3:30pm crit
race in field separate from Juniors]]
Confused? Me too.. one more Q- what tires to use? I have a pair of Bontrager slicks (700
miles on both) and a pair of GP 3000s (roughly brand new).
Thanks.
