Hey does anyone have a good route from sauk to lacrosse I will be traveling up that way and would like to do this bike. I did the mapquest avoiding highways but would like to know if there is anyother routes

I'm not expert on the area, but I would think the best bike route would be to get to Reedsburg and take the 400 Trail to the Sparta-Elroy to the Great River Trail which takes you right into LaCrosse. I took a look at the Wisconsin County bike maps. Belows a snippet that takes you from Sauk City to Reedsburg.

hwy 33 out of baraboo will take you all the way to lacrosse. its a beautiful ride. I did it about 11 years on a motorcycle there will be come real good hills in the kickpoo valley. good luck if you do it
