Could anyone give me some feedback on this Cranks.I'm putting together a 10 speed CX bike in the next few weeks and am thinking about using these because of all the issues I've been reading with the SL-K.

Been using these in compact version with 50/36 rings over the summer (on road) and 46/36 for recent training off road and training X races.

Look great, finish is reasonably tough, seem stiff to me particularly compared to alloy cranks that I have been using. Very light.

However, have quickly developed a persistant creak/cracking when out of the saddle. Tried taking apart and greasing/tighteneing everything, including the ISIS bottom bracket interface. Am now swopping to No 2 bike and on taking out felt perhaps it was the bottom bracket and lack of grease in frame bottom bracket threads that was responsible rather than the cranks.

Nonetheless would say that they are strong and suitable for cross IMO.
