I'm looking to have someone build me a set of clinchers with these rims, my question is being such a light rim will they be stiff enough radial laced 24f, a crossed pattern 24r, with cx rays and white ind hubs. I weigh 58kg and don't race at this point but that may change in the near future, they will be used daily with alot of climbing on weekends. The other two rims I was looking at were the R3.2 listed at 430g and the R400 listed as 410g. Does any body think that this would not be a stiff/durable enough build for my weight?
Thanks Brian.

At your weight it should not be a problem as long as you are not abusing them. The crostini rims are suprisingly durable but if you are the type that will ride thru the pothole instead of around it you will have more maintence and dented rims.
The real weights of the Alex rims you are looking at are,
R3.1- 375 to 380 grams
R3.2- 415 to 420 grams
R400- 400 to 405 grams

Thanks for the info Ligero, the weights on those rims are very impressive indeed. I've been to your website and read some of your posts and see that you have built a few wheelsets with these rims, I'm not overly hard on my equipement but some of the decents around here are real screamers and avoiding potholes at 70kmh+ isn,t always possible. Would the R400 rim 20f/24r with similar lacing be a better option, overall weight for the wheelset would be similar or does it have more to do with spoke count with such light rims.
