Gas prices will continue to fall until after the next election when "shortages" demand higher rates again...are people this easily placated? Probably. They voted for the assclown now in office for 2 terms.

when all else is failing, have your pals whose pockets you've lined for 6 years give a little back for the few months leading up to the election. Also the industry is doing so because a few are being investigated for price fixing, gouging. Oil industry is at an all time P-R low, they need to help salvage it and the President's and Party image is directly tied to them.

People blame them, rightly or not for the simple reason, that they've lied and deceived so much that such new behavior is gretted with "I wouldn't put it past them"
