SLC to issue permit for the 'Death to Israel' rally

I'm not happy with the state of Israel/Palestinian conflict, but I would never protest in a "Death to Israel" march.

There are some strange folk up there in Utah?

that's a bit over the top. I don't like Israel, but I would never say "Death to Israel". That seems a bit outlandish. I liked his analogy with Virginia though. They'll definitely grant the permit, and hope it goes away quickly. Like it or not, he has the right to say what he wants.

I love the paid "vicarious protestors." That's hilarious. I'm sure this'll be like the Klan rallies in Denver back in the day when folks were still fighting about the MLK March... the opponents will outnumber the actual protestors/rally participants.

Should be interesting.

this makes it even more perfect if we follow my plan and give Utah to become the new Israel.

a) It's a desert
b) there is a place called Zion
c) the majority of people there are crazy, wacky and don't drink due to their religion
d) there are already people there who hate them and want them dead

they'll fit right in

should we start a movement?

I feel like I was dead after spending three days in NJ. Spyds, I read the article and I am totally against that parade/march, it's a sick world. I could see someone organizing a peace march or a peace rally etc, but a gathering like that defeats any purpose.

I mean Israel is smart, they go to War and crush/kill many...all the while they call it (officially), 'The War For Peace'.

As a kid I thought that anyone who fought the Brits was a winner. I did not realize the IRA was using bombs/killing until I grew up and learned more etc, I understood that the IRA was a bunch of sick dudes...There I was at age 12 with my hero, Bono, telling me to, "F*ck the revolution" while he explained what was going on in Ireland in the 60's, 70's and the start of the 80's. It really hit me when he explained it and for one moment I felt like a Democrat. Then I started to get hives and I broke out in a rash. :) Anyway, I wish peace on the land Israel/Palestine and the only land I truly wanna nuke is Russia. I mean, from 1980-1988 that's all I wanted to do and it's still on my to-do list. :D

I am going to drop off 'Free Ham' coupons throughout the occupied terror-tories, that'll fix the dealio with torture.* :p

(I stole this joke from Bill Maher*).

KP, you know how I feel about the recent Israeli invasion of Lebanon. Second only to Iraq, it was one of the worst policies of aggression I've ever seen. But for anyone to wish "Death to Israel" needs to rethink what they are promoting.

BTW, sometimes the Democrat conversion doesn't take the first time... Spend some more time in NJ and you might just get there. :aureola:

I do not drink Vodka, but oh yeah, them Russian chicas are the real deal.

Consider how they age. Not that I am so shallow as to judge women by their looks, but if you are doing so you should consider not only 19 year olds.

this is true. the young russian women(and i'm lumping all of the eastern european ladies together here just to make things easy) that come to work summers in my town each year are truly hot for the most part.

the only problem is that by the time they reach their mid-thirties, they'll start to look like their grandfathers.

so call me shallow. :p

I don't have a new job...still at the old one. I can do this job deathly hungover and blindfolded if need be and still poast here on a regular basis. When I'm reading and poasting here I'm also doing work in other windows on the 'puter or listening to boring conference calls. I type fast which also helps.
