Jan beat some legit world class TT ers in the opening ITT today. Looks like he is back on track for the TDF. I wonder if he will go for the overall victory? If he did win it sure would put to rest all the speculation about his TDF readiness. I guess it would add pressure to win the TDF too.
Many willing Lance-de-throners this summer.

Yes, and this weekend he finished 5th at the TEAG race in Germany a performance which included an attack from him. He always seems to get himself into good form by the TdF no matter what.

after last year's performance people are obviously expecting for him to be the main contender and most likely the winner of the tdf. He was starting to worry a lot of people with his lack of results, but it looks like he's coming into form at the perfect time. You could hear all the people that don't want lance to win another groaning about Jan's bad form early on, let's just hope he stays on track.

Oh, I think Lance at this point is still the most likely winner of the Tour unless his form starts looking really suspect in the coming races. If someone is going to beat him though, I would love it to be Ullrich.

Yeah, one thing I'd love to know though is how Jan goes from dropping out of races because he can't keep pace w/the field to being a top contender for the TdF in TWO MONTHS... (six weeks if you count his performance in the ToG).
