Dees anyone here use Crank Brothers pedals for triathlon? Which model do you use? What has your experience been with them?
I'm thinking of the Quattro

or the Candyshttp://www.crankbrothers.com/templates/products/candy/candy4ti_blk.jpg
Thanks

Well.... I dont TRI but I do use eggbeaters and love them. I also use them on my mtb's so thats main reason I use them on the road bikes as well. great pedal, nice float, super easy to get in and out of. The stainless are what ive always used, but the Ti are much lighter but there is a weight limit but if your a TRI person im sure your light enough for them ;)

At a buck-twenty five I do think I'm light enough for any of them. I do wonder about the comfort of the eggbeaters over a 100 mile ride though.

Well I rode for 6 hours last weekend on them on really really rough trails in a 6 hour endurance race and my feet felt great with others complaining about their feet.
Ive done a few centuries no problem, and im doing 150 mile ride this weekend on them on the road bike.
I use SIDI shoes. Never had a comfort issue with them, thats why I like them I never know they are there which is a good thing.
For road shoes there is an adapter around the cleat that I think is extra, but I dont use that as I just use my mtb shoes for both. Im cheap. The road adapter is just a platform around the cleat so you can walk on it.
I think the TI is rated at like 170 lbs or something so you sure dont have to worry about that.

Thanks Zeeke, I may pick up the eggbeaters then for the weight savings and the ease of clipping during the transition.

This year I did an Olympic tri, Half Ironman, and the Full Ironman (Canada) and all of my other training rides on my Quattros. I can't say enough good things about them.
If I had to gripe about something, it would be that you need a goofy adaptor system to fit a 3 hole shoe system like Shimano. But once that's on there, no problems with fit, performance, comfort.
love em.
