I am considering a Pinarello Galileo, and I am confused. The two online stores I have visited describe the rear carbon SEATstays...yet the Pinarello website, describes the Onda Carbon REAR stays. So are the chainstays carbon as well, or is it only the seatstays? Not that it is a huge deal..just curious

should be both. Where are you planning on getting it from? Check GVHBikes if you haven't already. Awesome place to work with. Still sad about Gary passing away last year though... that just sucked.

the pinarello is GORGEOUS. I'd like to buy one, none of my stores locally carries them, The last bike I rode that REALLY impressed me was a six/13. Has anyone ridden both, and could anyone comment on similarities...differences? Thanks.

I don't know if it matters to you, but I'm pretty sure the entry-level Pinarellos are made in Taiwan, not Italy.
It's still a pretty bike, not a knock on it, just FYI.
Oh, and it's only the seatstays that are carbon. Checkout competitivecyclist.com for some better pictures of the thing --- one of the zoomed in versions has a really clear pic where you can see the cabon and aluminum being put together.
