Was it just me or did BigMig just PUNK Tyler when he mentioned Sevilla and not Hammy?

From cyclingnews.com:
Indurain judged Armstrong to be "meeting his objectives now, then there's Ullrich, who always is a little bit off, and the Germans. It also remains to be seen how Beloki is after his serious injury, Sevilla and Heras, who will be the leader of Liberty, and there are others who are always there like Mancebo."

I know that Sevilla may be a bigger talent for the future and maybe able to outclimb Hammy on a good day, but they are not close in a TT, are they?

Maybe Indurain was just concentrating on the Spanish riders (see the Backlash thread about coverage perspective), but he mentions JU. But now I hope that Hammy has a GREAT tour and sends all the Spanish hopefuls back to brood another year.

Yea, probably just oversight and a Spainard concentrating on Spanish riders or such...I'll try to take that chip off my shoulder. Still cheering for TH to do a heck of a ride next month. And in the mean time, win the Tour du Suisse.

Oh wait...Valverde rumor mill has Phonak in play for the change of teams. Pairing up two young Spanish phenoms like Valverde and Sevilla could be very effective. Where will this leave Tyler? Darn, that chip is right back where it was...

he'll be working for Tyler in the Tour and maybe he and Babyface can co-lead the Vuelta. Phonak when they hired Tyler allowed Tyler to build team a la USPS, around him. If Valverde comes on they will have 3 good climbing doms (Sevilla will be the Heras to Hamiltons Lance) while Valverde could be the Chechu or use him similar to how Saeco used Cunego, send him o attacks to force people to counter. I think T-Mob will do the same with Vino.
