I just picked up this Litespeed Veneto from Sellwood Cycles for the ridiculous price of $1350 including shipping. The bike is new and only has a few test rides on it. I was looking for my first ti bike and this one presented itself to me! I'm excited to throw a leg over this one and I'm looking forward to the taller top tube so I have a little less seat to bar drop. I'm thinking about throwing on an older set of wheels and selling these wheels to help defray the cost, but they are only going for about $300 on fleebay so it may not be worth it. I'm going to switch to a compact crank and transfer over my 10 speed ultegra stuff from one of my other bikes. The 5 days I wait for FedEx will seem like an eternity!

I'm not crazy about Litespeed bikes or ti material for that matter, but you have a nice steed there.
About the saddle to bar drop you must be referring to the headtube being longer, because you have no drop.Your bars look higher than your saddle.

I haven't adjusted the seat yet, but from a quick look at the bike I think I will have to raise it a few inches. I'll probably end up with a 2 inch drop from the seat to the handlebar once I have the cockpit properly set up. I don't do any racing, just a lot of long rides, centuries, etc. so I think ti is going to be a good material. It's light and durable and I don't do a lot of sprinting so I'm not too worried about stiffness. My current bike is all aluminum and it can be a little harsh after about 3 hours in the saddle.
