I have searched the Livestrong site, rbr, and google but can't find a lot of detailed information about the Ride for the Roses. Specifically, I am looking for regsitration information and the like.

Also, does anyone know the dates for the RFTR in 2007?

Thanks so much!

The old Ride For The Roses format was replaced this year by a series of five LiveStrong Challenge rides, in five different cities. All of them have occured now except for the one in Austin, on October 8:

There is a $50 registration fee, and a minimum fundraising requirement of $500 ($550 total). Note that this is up from the $150 of previous years.

The RFTR still exists, as an invitation-only special event for people who raise a minimum of $15,000 for the LAF in one or more of the various LiveStrong Challenge events (i.e., you could raise $15,000 for a single event, an average of $5000 for each of three events, etc). The RFTR will take place on October 15, but IINM the deadline for raising the required $15K has already passed.

What, you aren't going to just write me a check? :)

I didn't know it was invitation only this year. Thanks for the info.
