I was wondering if there is any high-quality material out there I can sew on my backpack for commutes. Yes, I have very bright lights. Yes, I have reflective tape on various locations. I'm just looking to possibly gain some reflective benefit to my backpack as well.
Thoughts?

Highly reflective stuff...you can purchase it at West Marine stores by the lineal foot.

The reflective triangles have a strap that allows them to be attached to some backbacks. Weave the strap through the top carry loop and side loops if any. Works better on some backpacks than others. You could also probably sew it on.

I've put the silvery-gray stuff on the back of my panniers and fanny-pack, stripes across the back of my windbreaker, even glued it on the back of the shoes I use for commuting. It's very bright, and it holds up well.

PdxMark,
Did you sew on the tape?

Did you sew on the tape?
They also sell iron-on types, but I haven't tried that.
