I had a creak that was driving me crazy. I was checking the bolts on the crank arm and found one of the bolts was stripped. I have 13,000 miles on the crank. I'm not sure to leave alone or replace the crank. Its a truvativ rouleur crank. Can I use shimano to replace with ? Or do I have to use Truvativ ? I did find the creak. I tightened the spokes on the rear wheel. Can I just get the bolt fixed or replace the whole thing ? Thanx for any help.

Never mind. I figured it out. The crank arm bolt goes into a sleeve and the bolt and sleeve just came out. The bolt or sleeve wasn't stripped. I was able to tighten. Its one of those things thats nice to know but probably won't use again... anyway for awhile.
