Hi,
i am building a bike with goldtec hubs (giving a ~45-46mm chainline) and a dura ace track crank (7710) and 109mm dura ace BB (7700). The DA crank/BB should give a 42.5mm chainline which is a bit low. Does anyone know of spacers for octalink BB's? Or other options for moving the cranks away from the frame?
The other option would be to get a 118mm axle which would give a 47mm chainline.

I'd go with a triple BB(118mm) and add a 1mm spacer before the cog. The downside to this is each pedal will be 5mm further outboard.
My concern with the 109 BB is whether putting a 3mm spacer on the driveside will allow you to tighten the non-drive side cup enough and still prevent the spindle from having slop. Also, it will move the non-drive side crank arm pedal a lot closer the the frame

Thanks,
i am having trouble finding a spacer for my rear sprocket. can you recommend anywhere? I wondered if changing my rear cog could increase my chainline but I am using DA cogs and they are about the thickest you can get according to Sheldon Brown's site
Try flipping your cog around so that the shoulder is against the lockring. Should get you pretty close to a decent chainline.
