Just put on a set of Mavic Ksyrium ES wheels and went out for a short maiden voyage. Fantastic performers – but I’m a bit concerned about all those stickers on the rims and hubs. What’s the protocol – leave them on or peel em off?

Also wound up with Specialized Mondo S-Works tires instead of the Pro2’s I had intended. LBS gave me a super deal just to get me to try them.

Side note: Anyone know of available software which can calculate wattage? Can’t go the power tap route, but surly there must be some software to at least get in the ballpark.

I have the ES wheels and the stickers are staying on for as long as they are on my bike. I think they look awesome, but I love flashy stuff. But remember you paid the price difference over the SL's for mostly looks. About the s-works tires, I ran them for a bit. They were much more flat resistant than the pro2s but neither are as nice as the vredstein tricomps I'm using now. They are my favorite tires to date, roll very fast.

The stickers on the ES are also reflective, nice if you push into twilight or ride at night.
