of these four tires, which one offers the best combination of:

rolling resistance

puncture protection

i don't care about the famed "ride quality", they're all comparable in weight, i just want the one that rolls the best and won't flat every other week

(EDIT) fyi, my rims are only rated for 125 psi, so i can't inflate anything over that....minimum on corsas is 115...so that pretty much eliminates those as i like to run higher pressure

Where'd you pull those 4 choices out of?

looking around and seeing what i like/don't like....

i've had various michelins...never cared for them and felt like they were too soft.

had hutchinson comps before...considering them and never had any problems but considering others....

other two were chosen for a higher psi rating and puncture belts combined with light weight...dunno much about RR of either

PSI rating is garbage. You can run any decent race clincher so hard you'll be bouncing off the pavement if you wanted. And, yes, this is slower than running a sane pressure.

D'ya think Michelins are "soft" as in vulnerable to punctures, or a ride quality thing?

Open Corsas cut easily due to the cotton sidewalls. They are some of the best tires around, though.

all the michelins i've run just feel soft on the road...puncture protection, no worries. i haven't run they're pro2 tires, just some of their carbons, and i will grant, old and cracked (which may be the problem), green sidewall tires

they are, however 240 g, which is more than i'm looking for.
