According to a report on Tuttobiciweb Floyd was notified of the + result for testosterone several days before the finish in Paris and the UCI only got the result on the 25th of July. Now I have to go back and read his expressions on those final days when only he knew of the problem.

I'm pretty sure cyclocrosser Ben Berden raced for a while between being notified of his EPO positive and when it was officially announced. I remember seeing him on the podium and thinking that is one of the worse sour pusses I've ever seen on a guy. I think he also came up on a lapped Canadian rider at one of the races and knocked him off his bike b/c he didn't yield the best line. Afterwards, he said something like well I still need to pay for the new house :)

These are the raw data, generated by the analytical instruments performing the tests. So NOBODY would have looked at the results until probably the next morning, on the 23rd which was the last day of the Tour. The second confirmatory run is dated on July 24--these are all on the A sample with another screening run performed on July 25th. The A sample IRMS analysis was performed around that time, as well. There is no way Landis could have known these results while the race was still underway

Oops, that will teach me not to skim it in a rush before a meeting.

Man those translations are bad. I haven't used one for a few years and I thought they would have been better by now.
