So I did the little trick that was originally posted on the WW cross forum by a cool cross dude over in the mother land. Apparently, he saw it on Wellen's bike. It was then posted on Rouse Artisanles.

Here it is on my wife's cross bike. It works like a charm. It easily allows enough cable adjustment to switch between open pros and reflexes while maintaining the same brake feel at the lever.

nice bike color oh and you've got those crazy Czech Brake pads. Where ya buying them?
Dave, not bad. Ended up 10th. Where did you end up? I didn't see you after the race. You going to Noho tomorrow?
Atp-pal, I really like the yehstar pads. I get them from Tufo NA. I just got a couple sets in stock. You want a set?

Thanks but one of our club (or ex club members) is a Tufo North America rep. He's based out of Colorado now. Any person complaining of chatter, squeal whatever should get these. I posted a post about them a couple years ago. The wear quick but boy to they work. I typically go with them on the front, and something cheaper and longer lasting on the rear. I'm MIA this year due to injury, job change etc..... I've picked up some freelance accounts and when I get my mad money back in order ya never know I may ask ya fer a clydesdale size ride.

That is really pretty trick. Is there anything similar that I can do for Paul Neo-Retro/Touring setups?

Zank, good job! I felt like crap the entire race, ended up 41/79, not very good. Yes, I'm racing at Noho, hoping today opened me up a bit

Just went and looked at my Mafacs. Won't work on them. The barrel isn't big enough for the 4mm threaded section to go thru. I think I'm gonna cry.
